Rules for allocating apartments
DIP's board has agreed on below-mentioned rules for allocating DIP's apartments which are rented by seniority. The right to an apartment is considered to be a personal right that cannot be assigned (subleased or lent) to family members or others.
If an apartment is assigned to you, you must be registered on the address with the National Register of Persons.
1. Members and spouse pensioners
Members and spouse pensioners have priority over DIP's apartments. The apartments are allocated according to a seniority principle where the seniority equals the contribution period.
Members' biological or adopted children under age 24 have priority over the 14 flatlets that DIP has in Vordingborggade.
2. Members' children
Apartments can be allocated to members' biological or adopted children under age 24 according to their parents' seniority if the apartment cannot be rented to a member.
3. Members of IDA
Finally, the apartments can be allocated to members of IDA (the Danish Society of Engineers) in the order in which applications are received.
If you are not a member of DIP or IDA, please contact DEAS directly on 70 30 20 20.
