The annuity certain is an alternative savings scheme which is paid monthly for a minimum of 10 years. The payment is taxed as personal income.
The saved amount is paid to your next of kin if you die before the pension is paid. The payment is subject to a 40 % tax charge.
On Regulations 4, you have the possibility of choosing between three investment profiles – Aktiemax, DIP Vælger and Obligationsmax respectively. Interest is payable at the rate of the pre-tax return of the chosen investment profile.
On Regulations 3, interest on the annuity certain is payable at the rate of DIP’s pre-tax return.
In 2016, the maximum tax deductible amount is DKK 52,400. If payment is made through your employer, you can increase the payment with the labour market contribution of 8 %.

When can the annuity certain be paid?
You can have the annuity certain paid when you reach age 60 if the pension scheme is established before 1 May 2007.
If the pension scheme is established after 1 May 2007, the retirement pension can be paid five years before you are eligible for state pension.
